quick update!

Now, I know most of you probably think I'm giving up on my blog or whatever cause I haven't gotten comments in my last 5 posts .. :/. But no, I'll never give up on you guys! I just want to mention that there is a short hiatus at the moment because I have pit rehearsals everyday and rehearsals for ensembles after that, like I am legit getting home at 9/10 on nights during the week. It's really bad. Also, as AP tests near, I have to kick it up on my schoolwork.

I am taking pictures everyday still though, I just don't have enough time to review them! I miss you guys :( LOve youuu, misss youuu :( :( :(

I'll be back soon, PROMISE!

Numero cinqueee!

So today, it was Sunday. Which means I am doing nothing, so I repeat outfits normally 'cause I just go to church and that's it .. no one really sees me. But because yesterday, I didn't post a picture, I decided to dress kind of nice today :).

Top: $38.00, Torrid
Undershirt: $14.97, White Bow-Front Cami (Torrid)
Jeans: $19.99, Rainbow
Lol at the bottom picture, I was giving a kiss to my ten followers, ahaha :)

Overall, the outfit is easy. It's quick to put together and is so adorable, when I first wore it, I got so many compliments from teachers to students and everyone in between. It is comfortable, has great colors in it, and the design is so cute. You can wear it with any color undershirt, I just only have a white and black one and was feeling white today .. so yeah. Jeans are amazing and the cami is simply adorable, I love the bow!

Day 4

So today was about the most exciting day, ever!! I woke up, went to the gym. And that was it. As I am typing this at 10pm, I am still in the clothes that I was in 12 hours ago. I am not going to take a picture of my outfit, ahahaha.

However, it is a St. John's University shirt and Reebok shorts. My outfit goes into large sizes, so it's perfect for working out in! I got my t-shirt at St. John's, ahaha. My brother went there and just gave me his old shirt. As for the shorts, I got them at Marshall's for like ten bucks, not even kidding.

A good thing for workout clothes is that a lot of the major plus sized stores (for teens) offer the stuff we need. I don't really like pants for working out, however most of my friends are into the yoga pants lately. At Faith 21, you can get your own pair of yoga pants, in two colors, for just $13.80! Similarly at Faith, you can get a basic t-shirt for $4.50 and pair them with shorts or pants, still looking good :). Also, Torrid has a whole section of Activewear where you can get outfits to work out in, but a little better of a quality than Faith.

That's it for tonight, I'll try to dress up nice tomorrow. I need to go on a shopping spree soon, seriously. I miss clothes!

Day 3 :)

So, today I spent most of my day in the house because I was upset to find out that I am probably not visiting my friend at BU this weekend and after the gym, I just watched Lifetime movies while doing my mom's hair.

When I picked up my phone off the washer machine, where I left it about 7 hours ago, I found my inbox flooded with texts about how my best friend is having a party and I should come. Now, I don't drink, I just bring some ice tea with me and sip on that while everyone else makes a fool of themselves. Being that my friend told me he was going to pick me up around 7:30 and it was 7, I quickly took a shower and threw on something last minute. Hair is a mess, but I fell asleep on the couch before I took this ahaha

outfit number 2 :)

I have a feeling my outfits are going to repeat constantly, especially since I love the shirt I'm wearing today. :)

Top: $24.99, Fashion To Figure
Bottom: $19.99, Rainbow

I love the outfit cause it's both a shirt and a cardigan in one, it's sooo adorable and fits so well :) :)
I look so chubby in it, only cause I just got back from applebee's, lol. Don't judge :)

Lent starts today!

So, in the midst of that, I made a commitment to go to the gym everyday. This so isn't going to work.
I was thinking of an outfit post everyday, like 40 outfits, 40 days. But I don't really want to repeat outfits, that gets boring. BUT I DON'T CARE, I'M DOING IT.

Left: before I did my hair; Right: after I did my hair.
Top: $38.00, (I guess) Torrid
Bottoms: $19.99, Rainbow

I love the shirt, it's a two in one combo, I love the combination .. seriously. It's adorable and works with everything, whenever I wear it, I get so many compliments!

Cause I gotta have FAITH!

At first, Forever 21's new line for plus sized teens, Faith 21, was horrific. Everything was just ugly, I was so excited 'cause I love Forever 21, but just couldn't fit into it. But Faith was just embarrassing; however, I continued to check, hoping for the better! And luckily, my long wait has finally paid off - I actually like some of the stuff available!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
1. $17.80, Christine Cami
2. $24.80, Tubular Bib Knit Top
3. $32.80, Show Stopper Jacket
4. $15.80, Touch of Couture Tank
5. $19.80, Cuffed Denim Shorts
6. $19.80, Touch of Lace Cardigan
7. $15.80, Pleat Pocket Knit Skirt
8. $24.80, Gold Pocket Skinny Jeans
9. $19.80, Striped Button-Tab Cardigan
10. $24.80, Beaded Bib Top
11. $22.80, Demeter Floral Tunic
12.
$19.80, Beaded V-neck Top
13. $17.80, Sailor Applique Striped Top
14.
$19.80, Aztec Influence Tunic
Sorry about the smaller pictures for 13 and 14, I got pressed for space. :)

But seriously, how cute are some of the clothes? Everything is adorable and if you added up my wishlist (which is so much bigger on the site), you'd see how extremely cheap the store is. Bet it won't really last a lifetime, but you'll look cute for awhile ;). Seriously, Faith 21 has stepped it up.

Personally, my favorite has to be number 10, 7, or 3. I love the purple shirt (10), it reminds me of my favorite Torrid shirt, just not in black. Number 7, the skirt, so cuuteee, it makes me smile. And as many of you guys constantly hear, I've been dying for a blazer .. this is the closest to one on Faith right now :P.

My closing statement is just DON'T YOU LOVE HOW FAITH 21 OFFERS CLOTHES THAT LOOK GOOD THAT AREN'T BLACK?! :) :)

Outfit Post?

As you guys may have know, I haven't posted an outfit in forever. I've been too busy reviewing stuff, whatever. This is long overdo, but I think you guys will get over it.

(I have no idea what my face is doing)
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Top: $14.99, Rainbow
Jeans: $19.99, Rainbow

I know the outfit isn't the best, it's simple. It's so cute though, I got so many comments on it, the ruffles are adorable. My hair is blocking it (it was a mess by the time I got home), but I definitely think you guys should buy this, cheap and worth the money. As for the jeans, I've never had jeans fit so nicely, it feels like there's nothing even there! That's probably because there is like absolutely no material to it, but whatever. For 20 bucks, I'll take what I can get.

I definitely am a fan of Rainbow. They have a pretty wide selection in their store, it's not the best stuff ever, but it's better than what Torrid has been putting out lately and it's madly cheap. Love you, rainbow!

Jordin Sparks :)

Did you know that right before she went on to American Idol, she won the Torrid Diva Search?! Well yeah, she did. How cool is that? She's lost some pounds since American Idol, but is still curvy and gorgeous! I saw a picture of her one day and just loved her look, so I decided to share it with you guys, also giving you pieces so you can copy her look.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
1. $26.50, Buffalo Pintuck Tunic Top (Wet Seal)
2.
$22.80, Skinny Edge Pants (Faith 21)
3.
$52.00, Brown Faux Suede Daisy Western Boot (Torrid)
4.
$20.00, Black Large Covered Buckle Stretch Belt (Torrid)

Although I'd prefer her boots in black (which Torrid does, btw), I still think she looks completely adorable! I honestly want this outfit so bad, so simple, but ahhh so good!

Added information to Sr. Prom dresses

So, I went to Barnes & Nobles today and read up on some fashion magazines and I passed the Seventeen Prom one. It was FILLED with prom dresses (many with plus sizes), including all these fabulous websites and everything you need to know (hair, makeup, etc.)! I wish I brought some paper so I could write down every single site for you guys, but I didn't so yeah. But I highly recommend purchasing the magazine, it has Selena Gomez on the cover in a peach dress. It's mad thick too, you'll know what I'm talking about, ahahha. But yeah, good luck!

Btw, 11th graders: working on a jr. prom one as I type!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Senior Prom Brahzzz

As many of you know, I'm only in 11th grade, so I haven't been to prom yet. This year, I'm going to junior prom; well hopefully, if I find a dress. But, many of my friends are going to prom and are talking about dresses already, so I think this is a good time to do this blog. Many plus sized girls are going to have trouble finding a dress for prom, trust me. So, I decided to try and make your search easier :)

Here's what I came up with:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
1. $269.00, Simply Sublime - available in two colors sizes 12-44
2. $318.00, Nika Plum Evening Dresses - available in 3 colors, sizes 0 -30
3. $278.00, Celebrity Inspired Criss-Cross Gowns - available in 2 colors, sizes 12 -24
4. $278.00, Red Sexy Plus Size Prom Gowns - available in 1 color, sizes 12 -22
5. $85.99, Pleated Strapless Rhinestone Brooch - available in 11 colors, sizes 0-18
6. $318.00, Purple Evening Gowns by Nika - available in 3 colors, sizes 0-30
7. $189.00, Satin Halter Reptile Print Trumpet Dress - available in 1 color, sizes 2-18
8. $99.00, One-Shoulder Gown - available in 1 color, sizes 1-17

Note: I was wandering through the sites quickly, I tried to get something from every site quickly before I passed out. I'm sure if you check more for yourself, you will find many more dresses which look better. There's much more stuff out there than what I found :)

My one tip for prom is:
Don't wear those dresses with openings in the back or sides. I remember last year, I helped my best friend shop for dresses and there was a plus sized girl trying on a dress and because of the openings, you could see her rolls. The dress was gorgeous, it just wasn't for her. But honestly, I wouldn't be comfortable showing my rolls to everyone, lol.

Here are some places you can shop at for dresses, I only looked at 2 websites, I'm sure there's more stuff, you just got to check bbyz! (alphabetical order)
Don't forget, ladies, wear what YOU want to wear. This is your night to shine, you went through four stressful years at stupid high school and you deserve to look your best, no matter what! Remember, you're gorgeous and there will be a dress for you ... promise! Good luck! Hope this helped!

Macy's Junior Plus!

So, Macy's. We've all heard of the store, even if you're not from the US. While doing my routine google search for plus size teen clothing, I passed by the Macy's site. When I saw Macy's, I thought of old clothing, unstylish, bland, and just 'meh' clothing. However, when I checked out the site, I was surprised. The clothes aren't half bad, some are actually cute. Also, most of the shirts are available in different colors, which helps some of us whose wardrobe includes just black. Here are some of the stuff I picked out, yeah.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

While strolling to the dresses, I saw some cute sundresses and going out dresses, since I was pressed for time, I just grabbed a few to show you.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
1. $79.00, Sleeveless Charmeuse with Belt
2. $48.30, Cap Sleeve Empire Waist Dot Skirt
3. $89.00, Sleeveless Embellished Empire Waist
4. $34.80, Colorblocked Stud Neckline Empire Waist

Note: I looked up these clothes about a week ago and I noticed that they have added more pieces. Also, if you're going to prom/jr. prom, they have a section available for more formal dresses here.

Although pricey, the clothes seem to be pretty good material and are actually somewhat cute. Kudos to Macy's!

Snow Day

So today, I have a snow day ... probably so does like everyone else in the New York. But you know what that means ... PAJAMAZ ALL DAY. Lulz, so yeah. I don't have any outfit posts, I was supposed to go see Phantom of the Opera today in the city for a field trip, but it got rescheduled, so I don't have a cute outfit now (unless you think my jets jersey and mets pj pants are cute).

But I have a question, I want anyone's input on it! Now, my page for my site is mad boring, but I don't understand how to edit it to make it look really really good. Does anyone know anybody or are you good at decorating blogs cause mine is just ugh, not inviting. I want my blog to be SIZZLINGG HOT, not how it is right now. But if anyone can give me tips, I don't know, just save me, I'd do anythinggg!

Comment on this pleasee, please!

ASOS Curve

So, on all of the other fatshion blogs, I've noticed all the gossip around ASOS's new line, Curve. And as you guessed, it's for curvy women. I've read so many reviews and they're all pretty positive, with the clothing being good material, fitting well, cute looks, and reasonable prices and shipping to the US.

With all these good reviews, I decided to follow the crowd and check out the site and there and behold, good clothes! I took my favorites and made a collage, somewhat, with the pictures so check it out.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

The clothes are adorable, I've seen them features on YFF and they look absolutely adorable on her! I wish they would send me free clothes too, haha.

At the moment, my number one is the Blue Coat, it's just the cutest thing ever. In the picture above, it looks kind of boring, but if you go to YFF and see her wearing it, it's just ahhh! I want the Blazer seced, I have been dying for a blazed forever, I need it! I just wanna say look at the Jeans and the Jeggings, can you tell the difference?! They even have pockets and straps for your belt in the jeggings, how cool is that??

BTDUBZ: The sizes go up to UK26 which is about a US24. So yeah, be aware :).

hallelujah!!

I GOT MY TWITTER BACK. PEOPLE WILL ACTUALLY VIEW WHAT I WRITE. YES!

I am going to start posting again, I know you're all happy to hear that .. LOL, :) :) :)

I AM SO HAPPY.

:(

so, my twitter is down because I joined way too many people in a short period of time (lol). so as i wait for them to unsuspend (?) my account, I really don't want to update because no one checks my stuff right now.

no offense to my 6 followers, i know you are DESPERATELY waiting for my next post ... sarcasm.
But legit, I can't advertise my blog, twitter was my only idea. So until my twitter is up, I will be preparing posts, I just won't post them.

It's been a week without my twitter, I'm dying. (fashiondatfits) <- that's the name. :)

Until then, I'll miss you guys, I just wanna bloggggg and tweet!! :(
